- US stocks rallied again last night as finance stocks and positive employment data helped push the market higher
- Bond auctions in Spain and France were well received with the yield required by investors coming in lower than previous auctions. Greek debt negotiations have resumed with no agreement of yet in place
- Bank of America rallied after it reported a 4Q profit, while Morgan Stanley also rallied on better than expected results
- In the tech space Intel rallied after earnings beat expectations whilst Goggle fell after it failed to beat expectations despite reporting a rise of 6% in 4Q earnings. eBay also rallied on positive news, up 3.86%
- Other Dow stocks to perform well were AA, CAT, CSCO and HD up 1.60%, 1.43%, 1.28% and 1.18% respectively
- DOW 0.37%, S&P500 0.49% and NASDAQ 0.67%
- Positive sentiment saw the continued run on risk. EUR traded 1.297
- Gold softened due to the positive data and Crude was relatively flat
